Despite the unsuccessful season, Ukraine has not lost the eighth position in the UEFA coefficients table.
Before Belgium lost their last representatives in the competition – “Genk” was no match with the offender of Shakhtar “Celta” and “Anderlecht” in overtime missed field goal from the “Manchester United”.
If at least one Belgian club reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, but Ukraine would have lost the eighth place in the UEFA coefficients table.
At the beginning of the season, the Premier League ahead of nearest competitor by nearly 7 points, but now the advantage is a tiny 0,233 points, and in the beginning of the next season Ukraine will lose three points more than the nearest competitor.
