The Uber app has the opportunity to order a car for someone from your contacts list.

To use the function is very simple. When you select a point that does not match your location, the app asks for whom is this trip for you or for someone else. If you choose the second option, the address book will open, from which you can choose contact. After this will only choose the destination and send the request.
The passenger will get a text message with the driver’s name and phone number and link to track his movements. The driver in turn, you will see the name of the person and will also be able to contact him — although the telephone number of the passenger is not know.
Product Manager, Uber Kyle Miller (Kyle Miller) believes that the feature will be especially useful when calling machine for elderly relatives, and anyone who doesn’t have a Uber account or smartphone.
