The house of representatives approved the bill on sanctions against high-ranking Chinese officials for the violation of the rights of Uighurs and other ethnic and religious minorities in China.
The document was adopted by an overwhelming majority, writes The Hill.
The bill was introduced by Senator Marco Rubio and unanimously approved by the Senate in the beginning of the month. Now, it remains to obtain the signature of the President of the United States Donald trump.
