The lower house of Congress had made provision for $ 150 million in military support to Ukraine.

The house of representatives of Congress in the appropriations bill for military purposes in the new fiscal year approved the allocation of $ 150 million in military support to Ukraine until 1 October 2017. Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly said that the United States not cut aid to Ukraine and $ 150 million is only part of the previously approved and the rest of the money will allocate after October 1, 2017.
