The TV channel “inter” face sanctions

The channels of the Inter Media Group has not fulfilled the requirements of the national Council.

Inter, NTN, PXEL TV and Enter-FLM declared a warning of non-compliance with quotas on the proportion of broadcasts of Ukrainian origin.

The national Council on television and radio broadcasting according to the results of unscheduled inspections of the four channels of the media holding Inter Media Group found violations and warnings to TV channels.

Warning announced TV channels inter, NTN, PXEL TV and Enter-FLM for violation of requirements on the proportion of transmission of Ukrainian and foreign production.

In accordance with the law, the transfer of European production, as well as the United States and Canada must be at least 70% of the total weekly volume of broadcasting, including not less than 50% – should be the production.

However, the TV channel inter, the share of transfers in Europe, USA and Canada was 57%. In NTN – 56,8%, PXEL TV – 66,4%, Enter-FLM – 37%.

The Council gave the TV a month to fix essential meshes in accordance with applicable law.
