The Turkish President admitted to buying missile systems from Russia

Turkey also plan to agree on joint production of s-400.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said about the signing of the Ankara and Moscow certain documents under the agreement to purchase Russian s-400.

A statement by the President on Tuesday quoted the Haber 7 TV channel.

“We have taken steps on this subject with Russia. The signatures, and hopefully we will see s-400 missiles in our country. We also request the joint production of these systems,” he said.

Earlier, the Minister of defence of the USA James Mattis warned that if Turkey will buy Russian anti-aircraft missile systems s-400, then there is the challenge about the compatibility of these systems with the technique of NATO.
