In Kherson a local resident in the apartment found the body of his 43-year-old friend.
An examination of the body revealed that the woman’s death was caused by mechanical asphyxia. The atmosphere in the apartment indicated that there was a chronic alcoholic. In the room were friends of the deceased and her lodger. Friends said that he came to visit, the hostess was lying on the couch. On the question of why she doesn’t get up, the roommate said that the woman is sleeping. When friends came closer, I realized that the owner is dead, the neck was a ligature mark. The police established that the crime was committed by 35-year-old lodger.
The intruder told the landlady she had hostile relations. Supposedly the owner is constantly reproached her that she pays little for an apartment, does not turn off the lights and litters. When, during a drinking woman again quarreled, the lodger grabbed a rope and strangled the landlady.
The question on election of a preventive measure against the ill-minded woman. Open criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal code of Ukraine “Premeditated murder” (punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of 7 to 15 years).
