After a relaxing day on the sprint stage, with the predictable denouement there were only two brave souls who defied the main group. In the day’s break went the French Johan, Offredo (Wanty – Groupe Gobert) and Eliya Hesberg (Fortuneo – Oscaro).
The breakaway had no chance to disrupt the dismantling of remaining in the race the sprinters – French formation ceased resistance, seven kilometres to the finish.
On the last kilometers of the organized distribution under Andre Greipel organized “Lotto”, but the German failed to meet expectations of the team. Tomorrow the Tour de France in 2017 will again be the master of the high-speed finish. The participants of the race will pass 203-kilometer stage, the only mountain of the fourth category.
