Completed the sixth stage of the 104th version of the legendary French race.
On the flat stage in the first week of the race the chances of the breakaway to reach the finish line is often close to zero. Today the trio of escapees, consisting of Vegard the stack of Langen (Team Emirates UAE), Frederick Baccata (Wanty – Groupe Gobert) and Perrigo Kemener (Direct Energie) has given a decent fight peloton, announcing the surrender only three kilometres before the finish.
In the final shot again was not equal to the Sprinter “Etixx–Quick-Step” Marcel Kittel. German 500 meters before the finish line was too deep, but still at the expense of power gave odds to the rest of the masters of high-speed finish.
