Sales of high-end smartphones Huawei P series and M continue to gain momentum, are also in demand and more affordable devices in the family Honor, reported DigiTimes citing industry sources among Taiwanese suppliers of electronic components. According to the latter, Huawei has shipped 38.5 million smartphones, or 11.3% of the General market and Apple’s contribution is estimated at 41 million iPhones, or 12%.
China remains one of the most important markets for Huawei. In the last quarter the company delivered in the country of 23.5 million smartphones, improving his result a year ago by 22.6%. At the same time Apple, by contrast, is losing ground in China, the iPhone shipments fell 7.6%, to 8 million units.
