The share of banks with state capital by total assets for the 9 months increased to 55.2%.
The share of banks with state capital by assets for the first 9 months of 2017 (January-September) increased from 52% (on January 1) to 55.2% (1 October). This is evidenced by the estimates Ukrainskimi the news, citing the national Bank of Ukraine.
It is noted that in Ukraine there are six banks with state share – PrivatBank, Oschadbank, Ukreximbank, Ukrgasbank, UBRD and Settlement center.
According to the published National Bank financial statements, as of 1 October, the total assets of banks amounted to 716,9 billion, representing 55.2% of the total assets of the banking system is 1.3 trillion UAH. As at 1 January share of state banks was 52% (644,5 bn UAH).
In the third quarter, the share of state banks declined from 55.6% to 55.2%.
At the same time, for 9 months the share of banks foreign banking groups has decreased from 35% to 30.9%, and banks with private capital from 13% to 12.5%.
