68-year-old star of the film Leon, Jean Reno, participated in the filming of paintings of Ukrainian origin.
On March 15 in Paris were dosemki family fantasy directed by Pauline Olias Barco, together, Ukraine, Belgium and France. The final scenes were the scenes involving the French actor Jean Reno (Leon, the big Blue, Nikita, the Crimson rivers, Mission impossible, ronin, the da Vinci Code).
“I was pleased to become part of the “Ukrainian adventure“ which was the film-fantasy Polina thanks to my friends Olias Barco Director and cameraman Thierry Arbogast, says Jean Reno. And I was glad to meet and work with the young Ukrainian actress Pauline Pechenenko, a shy and fragile.“
The film Polina tells about 11-year-old girl who knows nothing about his past and the fate of their parents. She lives in the house with an evil aunt and cousin. Those secretly planning to get rid of the girls in her birthday to get a mysterious inheritance – Studio. Pauline manages to escape, she sets off on a magical journey in search of the truth about her family.
“Jean Reno is a true sir, just a real samurai of the present. For me it was a great honour to work with him on the project Pauline,“ said the Director, script writer and co-producer of the movie, Olias Barco (winner of the Cannes film festival (prize of the critics Week for his short film Poubelles, 1994), and winner of the Marc Aurelio d’oro for Best film, Rome international film festival, the picture of please Kill me, 2010).
In addition to Jean Reno, the film was attended by such actors as Virginie Ledoyen (the Beach, 8 women), Edouard Baer (Asterix and Obelix in Britain), Ukrainian strongman Vasyl Virastyuk and Belarusian actress Yana Novikova (Tribe). The main role was played by Ukrainian Polina pechenenko.
The operator of the producer of the film was made by Thierry Arbogast (Lucy, Leon, the Fifth Element, Joan of Arc, Valerian and the city of a thousand planets).
“With Jean Reno I pulled three remarkable film, among them Leon. I was so happy to see Jean on the ground,“ says Thierry Arbogast.
Film Pauline is a WILD TRIBE FILMS co-production (Belgium, France) and FILM.UA (Ukraine), with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine for the movie. The release of the film scheduled for 2018. Distributor in Ukraine of the company will perform a UFD.
