Bogdan Petrenko expressed his opinion.
The Kremlin can carry out terrorist acts on the territory of Russia temporarily occupied Crimea and “L/DNR”. At the same time, the probability of terrorist attacks in a peaceful part of Ukraine is small — Moscow does not want rallying Ukrainians against the background of the tragedy.
Such opinion on air Commentator.LIVE was expressed by the Deputy Director of the Ukrainian research Institute of extremism Bogdan Petrenko.
“Russia’s task is not to mobilize the Ukrainian society, and demobilize. Therefore, the threat of major terrorist attacks, which could kill peaceful inhabitants of the territories, in fact. In contrast, by the way, from the occupied territories: attacks here may be one of the ways identity. That is not economic any indicators, not political, and Ukrainophobia and fear of resumption of hostilities”, — the expert believes.
The attacks, according to Petrenko, is possible in Russia, if the Kremlin officially show aggression and officially introduce troops — “Moscow will not just cause for the hatred of Ukrainians, and to make the Russians want to send troops”.
