The American company “Mondo”, engaged in production of limited edition posters and soundtracks of famous movies and games, announced a collaboration with leading Japanese developer company “Konami”. In the framework of this partnership, a vinyl record will be the first time released the soundtrack to the videogame “Castlevania” and “Silent Hill”. “Mondo” is not the first time cooperates with igrodelov – her account is released a vinyl with the soundtrack of “The Last of Us”</strong>.
Also both games got exclusive posters, which were sold at the recent Washington Convention “Emerald City Comicon”. According to visitors of the Convention, these are the coolest posters were sold out in a matter of minutes.
Music from “Silent Hill”, composed by Akira Yamaoka, was written under the influence of Angelo Badalamenti and used motifs styles “noise” and “dark ambient”. Previously, the soundtrack was released only on CD in 1999, and now the official CDs with him are quite a lot of money. Fans of the game series was even launched a petition on the website Change.org with a request to release the music on the vinyl. A specific release date for the vinyl of the soundtrack is not yet marked, but “Mondo” promise to do the job this year.
