During the day, the militants carried out 53 of the shelling of positions of Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ATO area. Two Ukrainian servicemen were lost and six injured, the press center of staff ATO in Facebook.
“The Russian occupation forces continue to commit armed provocations against ATO forces. During the last day recorded 53 of the shelling of positions of Armed Forces of Ukraine. More than half of them took place after 18.00 until midnight yesterday”, – said in the message.
Most of the attacks occurred in the coastal areas. In particular, Shirokino, Water, Hnutove, Chermalyk and Pavlopol was fired from APCS, grenade launchers and small arms, Marinka – from 82-mm mortars, APCS, grenade launchers and small arms. In addition, in the area of Marinka and Lebedinsky enemy sniper worked.
In Donetsk direction was fired Avdeevka and Luhansk from mortars of a calibre of 120 mm and 82 mm, grenade launchers and small arms, the sand, the Novoluganskoe and Dovgodko from grenade launchers and small arms, Maori and Varnetresk – from APCS.
On the Lugansk direction in the late evening from the automatic easel grenade launchers beat on the Ukrainian defenders of Novozvanovka and near Valuyskiy – from small arms.
