The estate belonging to temporarily displaced persons and in the occupied territories or destroyed during the hostilities shall not be subject to tax on real estate.
This was stated by the Director of the Department of taxes and fees from individuals of the State fiscal service of Ukraine Paul Dronyak.
According to him, this provision applies to residential and nonresidential real property of displaced persons is valid from 14 April 2014 and at December 31 of the year in which is completed an anti-terrorist operation on Donbass.
With the aim of resolving the urgent issue in the Tax code of Ukraine was amended accordingly.
