Astronomers believe that discovered huge bubbles will help in the study of the processes of evolution of the bulk of galaxies.
Scientists from the Institute of astrophysics and Department of natural Sciences, Universidade do Porto managed to fix the huge bubbles of gas and dust in the region of 2 distant galaxies, with a tremendous radiation in comparison with the others.
Power radio galaxies TXS0211-122 and TXS 0828 + 193 are located approximately eleven and a half billion light-years, reaches up to 1045 erg / sec. Within these galaxies are hidden enormous mass black holes, and energy-powerful active galactic nuclei.
To detect this phenomenon, the astronomers used the Keck II Observatory in Hawaii and the orbital Telescópio de Gran Canárias. The reason were formed in the galaxy’s gas and dust bubbles not thoroughly clear, regular stay in a mobile state. Their appearance is most likely caused by the retrograde action of the nucleus and galaxy, in moments of powerful wind sweeps dust and gas. While ultraviolet radiation from a black hole, and accumulated there, the gas might be on the path of creating stars because of the ionization of the interstellar medium.
