The schools propose to install access points Wi-Fi

In Ukraine, plans to launch in all the schools open Wi-Fi.

In the list of universal digital services for the Ukrainian preparing to make outdoor Wi-Fi in schools.

This was stated by Advisor to the first Vice Prime Minister – Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Andriy Biryukov during the presentation of the project “Digital agenda in Ukraine-2020”.

“We want to introduce a universal digital services in specific areas: education, medicine and other fields. That is, coming to a medical facility, you are entitled to claim an electronic queue or access some electronic registers, for example, the histories. Universal educational service is, if, for example, you have the right to have free access to Wi-Fi at a certain speed to access Internet was not just in the computer lab or the Director’s office and was available to the public, it can also be access to some digital content,” – said Biryukov.

The introduction of a list of universal digital services be provided in the new act on digital strategy in Ukraine. According to the Advisor to Vice-Prime Minister, the act will also be introduced the terminology of digital technologies.

Biryukov also noted that the tentative date of the adoption of the law – the first half of 2018.
