The security service of Ukraine published for public discussion document that introduces criminal liability for Ukrainian politicians and officials for visits to Russia. This was announced by the speaker of the SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya.
“It is the initiative of the Chairman of SBU Vasily Gritsak, which has been expressed a month ago, and now Service has developed this bill, he had not yet been introduced to Parliament, because SBU is not an object of legislative initiative”, – Gitlyanskaya declared.
According to her, the document was promulgated in order to bring to public discussion.
“Only then can we ask one of the subjects of legislative initiative to submit this document to Parliament,” said Gilanskaya.
While the representative of the SBU said that if the document approves the society, it is “a technical question, whom it will be made”.
