The salary of Ukrainians increased in may

The highest salary was recorded in Kiev.

The average nominal salary amounted to UAH 8725 in may 2018.

It is noted that compared to may 2017 nominal wages grew by 27.6%. Real wages compared to may 2017 increased by 14.1%.

The highest salary was recorded in Kiev – 13286 hryvnia.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers from 1 January 2017 increased the minimum wage to 3200 hryvnia.

In October, the National Bank said that the increase from 1 January 2017 the minimum wage added 2-2,5 percentage points to inflation this year.

As reported, from January 1, 2018, the subsistence minimum is 1,700 hryvnia, and the minimum wage – 3 723 UAH.
