The government reacted sharply to the statement of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who threatened Russia with tougher sanctions because of the intensified fighting in the Donbas.
Words Poroshenko said on Twitter Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov, the head of temporary Commission of the Federation Council’s information policy and interaction with mass media.
“Poroshenko has threatened (?!) Russia with new sanctions. What is a Ukrainian? Or is it already on behalf of the EU says? He can only binoculars to face,” wrote Pushkov.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko 23 July announced that it will require Russia during telephone conversations in the Normandy format immediately ensuring of the regime of silence in Donbas.
“In the case of non – strengthening of sanctions against Russia in accordance with the recent decision of the group of Seven summit”, – said the Ukrainian President.
