The Russian Navy will receive the shock-reconnaissance and sabotage submarines P-650 with a displacement of 720 tons, which will be able to deliver secretly to the shore and pick up a group of special forces and special operations forces.

Submarine designed by St. Petersburg naval Bureau of machine building “malachite” and received the unofficial title of “Superpurge”.

It is noted that P-650 provides for the installation of torpedo tubes to exit the marine commandos, as well as a special compartment with airlock chamber to bring them on Board. The submarine has a modular design that allows to put different types of cruise missiles, torpedoes and bottom min. This will allow not only to carry out combat missions, but also work as a patrol ship, destroy missiles and torpedoes on land targets and ships, as well as to radio intelligence.

P-650 is equipped with two diesel generators that produce electricity for the propeller motor. The cruising range is more than 3000 kilometers, and for most of the race, the submarine can pass in a submerged position, without revealing your location. The crew of the submarine consists of nine people, there is a special room for placing the group of six combat swimmers.

P-650 can carry four torpedoes caliber 533 mm, eight torpedo caliber of 400 millimeters, and in a special bomb bays are bottom-12 min.

It is noted that a submarine is the ideological heir of the midget submarines of project 865 piranha Soviet Navy. They were intended to deliver commandos to the coast of the enemy, but in 1999, the program was phased out, and the boat washed.
