The Russian diplomat in Norway in a drunken state made an accident

The Russians worked as an intelligence officer at the Russian Embassy in Oslo.

In Norway the Ministry of foreign Affairs took the incident of road accident with participation of the Russian diplomat, who a week earlier ran into a parked car while driving in condition of alcoholic intoxication, under his control.

This was reported by the newspaper Newsinenglish.no 17 Oct.

The incident occurred late on the evening of 30 September in Oslo, with participation of cars with diplomatic plates. Indicates that it crashed into a parked car and tried to escape but was detained by a patrol. When the police arrived, the police described him as “obviously drunk” with the obvious smell of alcohol. The diplomat refused to undergo Alcotest.

Officials at the Russian Embassy declined to comment on the situation. Press Secretary of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Norway issued a statement that “we take seriously violations of the law.” Also the foreign Ministry promised to monitor the case in accordance with the applicable procedures (the driver can send out of the country).

The edition with reference to the police said that the diplomat involved in the incident, worked as an intelligence officer at the Russian Embassy in Oslo.
