The Russian Ambassador Sergey Andreev has told about “rigid” conversation with the Director of the Eastern Department of the foreign Ministry of Poland Jan Hofmokl in connection with the statement of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about after Poland in Germany who in the 1930-ies promised to erect a monument to Hitler.

The Polish press Agency with reference to Deputy foreign Minister of Poland Marcin Pridacha announced that Warsaw “expressed strong protest historical insinuations”.

Andreev explained that Pridacha did not attend the meeting.

“If he was making these statements, the framework of my visit to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland,” the Ambassador said.

Andreev stressed that “if something like that sounded at the interview at the foreign Ministry,” that he would “give an adequate response” to the “unfounded and insulting” to Russia and its President approval.

On Tuesday on the expanded Board of the Ministry of defense Putin called the “anti-Semitic bastard and a pig,” Polish Ambassador to Germany who in the 1930-ies promised to erect a monument to Hitler.

The Russian foreign Ministry pointed out Poland to the inadmissibility of rewriting history.
