The beginning of works on the Palace grounds-the castle is scheduled for the end current – the beginning of next year.
In the annexed Crimea have begun work on drilling the rock on which the complex is situated swallow’s nest. As reported by Kryminform with reference to the Deputy Director of the Swallow’s nest, Alexander Levin, the work is proceeding to strengthen the cliff in the event of earthquakes.
“The rock is the Foundation. So first you need to strengthen it. Now undergoing an unprecedented study of the rocks, and then rekonstruiruet the castle,” explained Levin.
Now completely closed the passage to the balcony of the castle and the second floor.
“This is not a fad. The fact that experts have warned there is the possibility of events – an earthquake, which is unpredictable. Must be able to quickly evacuate from here,” said the Deputy Director.
A serious earthquake, the castle swallow’s nest survived 90 years ago – because of the push in eight points collapsed tower, through the building was a crack. Working on-site geologists say that before that in the Crimea the same power of the tremors was in the XVIII century. Thus, there was a hypothesis about a century cycle.
