The ROC severs relations with the Alexandrian Patriarchate from its acceptance of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine
The Russian Orthodox Church broke off relations with Patriarchate of Alexandria, in whose jurisdiction included all of Africa, including adjacent Islands, due to the appreciation of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The decision of the Synod published in his telegram channel in the head of the Synodal Department for relations between the ROC society and the media Vladimir Legoyda.
According to the document, which is in Africa, the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church derived from the Alexandrian Patriarchate, suspended the activities of the metochion of the Patriarchate of Alexandria to the Moscow Patriarchal throne. In addition, the ROC will not be mentioned in the prayers of the Patriarch of Alexandria Theodore II.
