ROC suspends the concelebration with the hierarchs of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, but does not break the Eucharistic communion
The ROC ceases to participate in the structures under the leadership of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and ceased to commemorate the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew during the divine services on the background training Panaram autocephaly of the Ukrainian Church. “Eucharistic communion between the churches is not interrupted. This decision is without prejudice to the ability of clergy of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and the Russian Orthodox Church to perform the divine service,” – said the press Secretary of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church Cyril Alexander Volkov.
The press Secretary added that the termination of remembrance means that Cyril will no longer say the name of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople during the Liturgy, that is, will cease to pray for him at home in a Church service.

The Bishop of Constantinople Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Emmanuel of France said that the Kyiv Exarch will help to pave the way for autocephaly.
According to Emmanuel, Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople as the mother Church, after a deep analysis of the issue, decided to grant autocephaly to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and added that the Metropolitan of Kiev canonically subordinated to the Ecumenical Patriarch.
The ROC protested in connection with the appointment of the exarchs of Constantinople, calling it “an invasion of its canonical territory” and has threatened to Eucharistic communion.
The Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate, Patriarch Filaret expects the creation of a unified local Church in Ukraine by the end of 2018.
The UOC-MP has said they do not recognize the Ukrainian Orthodox Church after the giving her a Tomos of the Ecumenical Patriarch.
Responding to threats of the Russian Orthodox Church to cease all relations with Fanara, representative of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Teleski job said that to stop the Eucharistic communion is necessary for a good, dogmatic reasons and not because of the whims of Moscow.
He also added that Fanar never gave the Tomos of autocephaly, the Moscow Patriarchate.
In addition, the Ecumenical Patriarchate has published the original documents of the Council of the UOC in 1991 in support of autocephaly. In the annotations to the publication stated that the document was published against the background of statements that the alleged Ukrainian hierarchs (UOC – Ed.) never wanted autocephaly.
