Today was held the meeting of presidents of the Czech Republic and Russia.
Russia and the Czech Republic will sign 13 agreements on cooperation in the sphere of economy, totaling about $20 billion after the visit of the Czech delegation. This was announced following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Czech President Milos Zeman.
“With regard to specific agreements, basic agreements, 10 of them will be signed in Moscow [during the visit of the Czech delegation] and three more – in Ekaterinburg. The total volume of signed agreements amount to $20 billion,” – said Zeman.
As noted Zeman, the Czech delegation consisted of 140 entrepreneurs. He recalled that during his visit to France he was accompanied by only 14 businessmen. “From this we can conclude that Russia is more important than 10 times for us,” said the President of the Czech Republic.
Zeman said that the Czech Republic now has 6 thousand students from Russia. According to him, Czech Republic is interested in development of economic cooperation with Russia, but also in increasing the number of tourists from Russia.
