Co-op shooter The Walking Dead from the Studio developer Overkill Software has been announced by Robert Kirkman, the Creator of the original comic and producer of the popular television series “the Walking dead”, even in 2015. Then it was assumed that the new game in this universe will be released in 2016.
Then the release was delayed as much as the end of 2017. And recently became aware of a further postponement. And again the long delay. New release date – somewhere in the second half of 2018.
The company Starbreeze, Overkill Sofware owners, say they will fully realize the potential of the project. Like, DIN is waiting for expansion – at least in comparison with what was originally planned. It’s funny that last time the developers explained the delay in the same way.
About the game itself for the time being not much is known:
Cooperative action with the first-person view, which will present elements of role-playing games, survival horror and stealth passage.
The game will also support helmets-VR, but it is created in versions for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
