The regional development Ministry plans to simplify the requirements to the construction works

[b]we are Talking about the construction works, which do not have significant effects, to reduce excessive regulation of the construction industry.[/b]

The Ministry of regional development, construction and housing developed a list of construction works not requiring permission of the State architectural and construction inspection on their performance, and after which the object shall not be taken into use.

February 15 was the open meeting of the working group under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister Lev Partskhaladze and with the participation of representatives of gasc, the Ministry of infrastructure, Office of effective regulation, the International organization for law and development (IDLO), Amerikanskoi chamber of Commerce, KSU, experts of the construction industry, business, the public and the media to discuss the issue.

“The point is to simplify the conditions for the implementation of those construction works that do not bear significant consequences, and to remove unnecessary regulation of the industry, providing the entire list of such works in a single document. For example, now for installing ramps, replacing Windows or removal of the battery to the balcony do not need to go in Gasquet and get permission. We worked through a list of experts and sent for approval to the Central authorities”, – said the Deputy Minister.

While Leo Partskhaladze noted that the implementation of such types of construction works must comply with legislative requirements, construction norms, state standards and rules.
