The Putin administration has responded to Kadyrov’s statement

Putin’s press Secretary expressed the opinion of the President of the country.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov intends to examine the statements of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in connection with the events in Myanmar.

A Kremlin spokesman said that after reviewing he will be able to evaluate his statements.

“We know that Muslims are emotionally perceive these events in Myanmar, but I haven’t had time to read them first, I would like to see, and then somehow evaluate. So I’m not going to do it,” — said Peskov told reporters.

Press Secretary of the Russian President said he had not heard the calls for Jihad from the participants of the Sunday rally at the Myanmar Embassy on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street in Moscow. According to Peskov, this matter should be handled by law enforcement agencies. During the protests the Metropolitan police arrested 20 people who were convicted of violations of public order.
