Analysts compared the indexes of purchasing power, the level of rents in the consumer basket and the cost of local services of a particular country with a similar figure for new York.
According to the study, the purchasing power of Ukrainians is below the purchasing power of the people of new York by 71.9%, rents are cheaper in 91,1%, food and services – by 70% compared to new York.

“Incomes of Ukrainians are still low, from which the country is on the list of 50 most cheap. Kiev residents have to spend about 325 dollars a month for one person, with the exception of rent,” – said in the study.
The cheapest countries to live in were South Africa and India. Poland took the 12-th place, Russia has occupied 39-e a place, and Belarus closed top 50.
