The published algorithm of transition of Church communities

Обнародован алгоритм перехода церковных общинThe decision to move the religious community to the jurisdiction of another Church shall be taken at the meeting on individual rules.

Religious information service of Ukraine published the phased instructions on how religious communities to make the transition from one Church to another.

Earlier today, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted approved rules changes in religious communities of subordination.

“Now for the transfer of a parish from one Church to another must summon a meeting. In the statutes of each religious community provided, which body has the right to make such decisions. Or parish Council or meeting of the whole community. Believers have the right to convene such a meeting, but there must be a quorum. Conditions of the legitimacy of the meeting spelled out in the Charter of each community. To move the community to another jurisdiction, the decision was supported by two-thirds. Everyone who voted needs to put a personal signature in the Protocol”, – said in the statement.

It is noted that community that changed the discipline, remains a temple.

In case of the believers do not agree with the decision to change jurisdiction, they can create a new religious community and to conclude an agreement to alternate the use of the temple.

Faith communities need during the year to harmonize their statutes with the new law.

While there is a transition community, prohibits any action to her property, sales, rent, mortgage, etc.

Also, public authorities shall publish decisions on their official websites about transition communities.
