Pre-trial investigation conducted by the Prosecutor’s office of Crimea.
The Prosecutor’s office of Autonomous Republic of Crimea opened a criminal case against people’s Deputy Andrey Artemenko. This was announced by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko on his page in Facebook.
In the plot it says that the MP Artemenko, staying abroad Ukraine, “acting in collusion with the leadership of the government of Russia has committed treason, namely provided to a foreign state (Russia) assistance in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine, which has resulted in calls for the transfer of long term rent of the territory of the ark”.
It is also reported that the case was opened under part 1 of article 111 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (high treason).
