Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko declared that the editor of the publication Country.ia Igor Guzhva is involved in another case about non-payment 17.7 million hryvnias of taxes. He said this during a briefing in Zhytomyr, which was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”.
Lutsenko also said that he had not read the materials Stranye compromising the MP Dmitry Linko, and does not intend to evaluate them.
“I did not read the materials that were going to place – to place. Moreover, every politician in their attitude to the disclosure of his private and public life. Some getting used like me to the truth and to lie, and some of this is too painful. In this case, I’m not going to evaluate the so-called “compromising”, which was supposed to post on the MP. I just think that a journalist who takes money for non-disclosure, commits a statutory offence. It’s called “extortion”, – said the Prosecutor General.
