About 65 percent of the cost of a litre of petrol on Russian gas stations account for taxes. By this view came to the FAS, analyzed the dynamics of growth of fuel prices.

In 2019 and 2020 is expected to increase again, albeit in a smaller size — about 3.5—3.6 percent. In addition, simultaneously increased the tax on mineral extraction (met): 55.4% in 2015, to 11.8% in 2016. In 2017 and 2018, the mineral extraction tax grew by 7.2% annually.

The offending company paid to the budget is huge by world standards, the penalties — a total of about 20.7 billion rubles.
