The President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte formally apologized to God for he suffered insults.
The leader of the country on the official page in Facebook published a video that explained their position.
Duterte apologized for calling God “stupid” and insulted him.
“I apologize only to God and no to anybody,” — said the President.
Duterte said that God would be pleased to hear his apology if offended by what was said earlier. “Why? Because my God is forgiving. He doesn’t remember past grievances. Why? Because he made me good, not bad”, — said the President of the Philippines.
24 June 2018 Duterte called God “stupid”, then the tense situation between the administration and the Church have intensified. The President even promised to immediately resign if he was given evidence of God’s existence.
