On Friday, June 2, the Moscow police searched the apartment of the journalist of “Novaya Gazeta” Elena Kostyuchenko in connection with the suspicion that there is hidden criminal.

According to her, security officials explained the necessity of entering the apartment of the journalist supposedly rustling cat.

She Kostyuchenko said in an interview with The Insider, he did not believe in this version and links the actions of the police to his professional activities.

She also noted that she has two versions of events.

My house was in a renovation programme and the Council is trying very hard to ensure that our house was demolished… the Second version – it may be something to do with my work, but I already find it difficult to name specific causes. Of course, you can believe in cat”, – the journalist added.
