Paleontologists have found a fly agaric, which are more than 100 million years.
A group of Chinese, new Zealand and American paleontologists found near the Myanmar four mushroom older than 100 million years.
All samples of mushrooms are well preserved due to the fact that was inside the amber. Scientists have reconstructed thanks to modern technology, their appearance and found that these mushrooms is very similar to modern toadstools.
“Thanks to this discovery we can say, that mushrooms appeared on Earth 20 million years earlier than science previously thought,” – said in the report the Academy Huang Dienow.
