Meter installation is scheduled for late 2017.

Utility company “Center of municipal services” reported how categories of consumers are set free housing water meters.

According to the city program “Care. Meet Kiev” for 2016-2018,” the right to free equipping apartments with water meters is 6 categories of consumers. According to the head of legal services KK “Center of municipal services” (CKS) Natalia Khizhnichenko, the city budget financed the equipment of apartments with counters such residents:

– invalids of the first group of the subgroup “A”;

– children with disabilities of subgroup “A”;

– lonely idle pensioners who need care, invalids of the first group of subgroups “B” and the disabled of II group. Counters set users, the amount of pension which does not exceed one and a half times the subsistence minimum incomes for the persons which have lost working capacity. Also for equipment of the apartment counters, Kiev residents in this category must be registered in the territorial centers of social service of the city of Kiev;

the guardians of the minor orphans.

The list of privileged categories of consumers will increase

In TSKS offer to increase the number of Kiev, which for free will install the water meters. “It is proposed to expand the list of certain privileged categories of the population of Kiev, referring to the poor who need social protection.

This is a large family, the parents of the dead soldiers, widows and widowers of servicemen, their children, disabled people of military service, participants of operations, participants of war, members of the family of the dead and war veterans,” – explained Natalia Khizhnichenko.

This is stated in the draft decision of the Kiev city Council concerning establishment of the accounting system for hot and cold water at the expense of means of city budget of Kiev.

According to the “TSKS”, according to the current order free of equipping apartments with water meters, install meters and must 2917 users. Expanding the list of preferential categories will allow you to install metering devices 3986 Kiev.

“In the case of adoption by the city Council changes to the current solution, the total number of preferential categories of citizens will increase to 7000. They can install or replace meters for cold and hot water at the expense of the city”, – reported in the “Center of municipal services”.
