Repair is nearly over.

In Kiev, the end of work on repair of highway embankment and a Pedestrian bridge that connects the right Bank of the capital and Trukhanov island. This was reported on the official website of the mayor of the capital.

“A few years ago here doing repairs. However, it was done poorly. Now we see a completely renewed a bridge,” said the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko.

On the bridge, with a length of 0.43 km covering the pedestrian part of the figured elements of paving include asphalt concrete pavement; installed new section of iron railing; painted railing, lighting poles, pendants, chain bridge. Also installed barriers on the approaches to the bridge and the passage from the stairs of the monument to the Magdeburg law. This will not prevent the movement of pedestrians, but will block the movement of vehicles.

Also installed underground containers for solid waste collection. Now it remains to complete the application 130 meters pegging.

The cost of repairs – UAH 17 million.
