Public socio-cultural project “Folk Ukraine” intends to hold a festival of lights during the celebration of the New year on St. Sophia square in Kiev.
“This New year will be special. The slogan of the celebrations will be “Neon. Light and joy” will be large number of the light show, the festival of illuminations”, – said the head of the Folk Ukraine Igor Dobrutsky.
Dobrutsky said that the celebration will involve 100 km more garlands and lights.
In celebration of the New year on the square will be installed more than 30 luminous art objects.
Folk Ukraine were involved in organising the Christmas town in 2015 and 2016.
