Representatives of the OSCE SMM spoke at the Donbass military who identified themselves as Russian.
Observers of special mission of OSCE saw the insignia of the troops of the Russian Federation and other States in the occupied Donbas.
This was stated on August 15 the first Deputy head of SMM Alexander Hg at a press briefing in Lviv, answering the question about the presence of Russian mercenaries in the Donbas.
“We report only what we see. We saw the insignia of the Russian Federation and other States,” he noted.
In addition, observers talked with people who called themselves soldiers of the Russian Federation.
“We have seen individual weapons, electronic warfare (Russian – ed). But the findings are not relevant to our authority. We are called to fix what we see,” said hug.
He noted that the SMM was not allowed in some areas, prevent observation, so accusations of “blindness” SMM is not justified.
