MPs call to end the occupation of the Donbass and the Crimea.
The Committee on political Affairs and security the OSCE PA has prepared a draft resolution, which Russia recognized as an occupier. The authors of the document urged Russia to cancel the annexation of Crimea and to comply with the agreement on Donbass.
In particular, it is recognized that “certain areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions” under the control “of the Russian hybrid forces”.
The resolution also Russia “as a state-occupier” call to ensure the smooth movement of the SMM OSCE on the territory of Crimea, and expressed support for the Minsk Protocol and the Minsk Memorandum on settling the situation in Donbas.
The parties to the conflict are urged towards the withdrawal of large caliber weapons, and in enabling humanitarian missions to carry out their activities in the Donbas.
Deputies of the OSCE PA in the draft resolution call on Russia to cease occupation of Donbas and Crimea, and urged Russia “to refrain from aggressive practices and to cancel the decision on the illegal annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”.
