The OSCE had limited patrols in the Luhansk

OSCE SMM patrolling limited in Luhansk on November 21-22 for security purposes.

This is stated in the operational report of the mission published on Thursday, November 23.

In Luhansk the SMM observed the presence of armed men on 21 and 22 November in Lugansk, according to the observations of the mission district within a radius of about 600 meters from the house № 38 on the street Lunacharsky was fenced.

During these two days in the fenced area observers saw about 100 unidentified armed persons, most of whom were wearing masks (or were hiding their faces) and with white bandages on his hands.

In the same district team, the SMM saw 4 armored personnel carrier, which stood in four different places: in the street Kotelnikova (APC), Lermontov (APCS) in the street Kotelnikova (BTR-80) and on the street Polish (BTR-70).

On the morning of 22 November to 20 meters South from the intersection of streets Soviet and Lermontov observers saw at least 4 trucks of military type (without license plates), 1 armoured personnel carrier (APC) and a group of 5 unidentified armed men in the form of a military type with white bands on their arms. They are not allowed to patrol mission to travel in a southerly direction along the street Lermontov.

In addition, from noon 21st to the evening of November 22 in hotels, where observers or worked TV and radio.

The mission has taken additional security measures and support of operations. On 21 November the SMM patrols were recalled to base in advance, and November 21 and 22 was carried out limited patrols.
