The OSCE called the undermining of their car not accident

The mission stated that this was due to the use of weapons with indiscriminate effects.

The Deputy head of the OSCE in Ukraine Alexander hug said that the undermining of the car in the territory controlled by LNR was not an accident, as an explosive device laid is going to “kill someone”.

On 23 April, the OSCE car hit a landmine in the village, controlled by the “LPR”. He died a citizen of the United States. This is the first death among the observers for all the conflict in the Donbas. According to the separatists, the car of the OSCE, “took a detour”.

Hug noted that “what happened on Sunday wasn’t an accident”.

“It was a result of the use of weapons neithertheless action. This is the weapon, of which there never should be. A weapon that was deliberately placed there to injure, maim or kill someone,” he was quoted by UNIAN.

The OSCE stressed that the route by which drove their employees was scheduled.

“It’s actually the same route that the observers went the previous day,” he added.

Moreover, he noted, the patrol returned by the same road, which came less than two hours earlier, “the car, which was Joseph (the stone edition) and our other two colleagues, ran over a powerful explosive device.”
