This year the main prize was awarded, Tuinder Kars (Kars Tuinder) for a photo of the fish market in Africa.

One of the leading magazines pictures of MonoVisions organized a photo contest MonoVisions Photography Awards to give the opportunity to both Amateurs and professional photographers to acquaint the world with the best black-and-white prints.

The work was made in 12 categories, ranging from conceptual and photographs in the Nude, ending with shots of wildlife and architecture. Awards were given as individual works and series on the same subject.

The winner, who will receive the main prize — five thousand dollars, four thousand submitted works were chosen by a jury consisting of photographers, critics and gallerists.
