Social media users were delighted from the fantastic beauty of the bridge Paton.
Paton bridge, which passes over the Dnieper river in Kiev, showed from the height of bird flight. The corresponding video shows how the bridge looks after 64 years after construction began. It is worth noting that the world’s first all-welded bridge with a length of 1543 meters. Direct participation in the design and construction of the bridge was made by the academician Evgeny Paton, in whose honor and named the building.
The construction of the bridge began in 1939, but during the Second World war, in September 1941, the process was frozen, and in 1942, on existing poles, the Germans built a temporary bridge. In 1943, during the retreat of the Germans, the bridge was destroyed. Ten years later, in November 1953, it was completed and finally commissioned.

The width of the roadway of the bridge is 21 meters, width of sidewalks – 3 m. 1 Nov 1954 and 9 June 2004, passed over the bridge tram line. In 2004 carried out the reconstruction of the bridge, and the trams replaced by trolleybuses. The entrance to the bridge from the right Bank decorated the Propylaea of the Doric order, from the left – two columns with a height of 20 m.

Note, the lake Synevyr, located 989 meters above the sea level. The average water depth is 10-12 meters, maximum — 24 meters. It is known that since 1989, in the territories around the lake was created by the national Park Synevyr.
