Fishing vessel under the flag of Ukraine violated the state border with Russia, say in the so-called Border Department of the FSB of Russia on Republic of Crimea.
As explained in Department, the ship “the Fisherman of Chersonesos” (home port of the Black sea), “through the exploration of aquatic biological resources in the open sea, dug in the territory of the Russian Federation by almost 400 meters.”
The detention of Ukrainian ship captain and ten members of the team on Board was carried out by the border patrol ship “Amethyst”.
“In accordance with Russian legislation, the captain of the Ukrainian seiner brought to administrative responsibility under part 1 article 18.1. Of the administrative code (violation of the state border of the Russian Federation) with the imposition of a fine in the amount of 60 thousand rubles,” – said the Agency.
