The number of victims of forest fires in Portugal has increased

The number of victims of large-scale forest fires in Portugal increased to 62 people, declared three days of mourning for the victims.

As noted, Portugal in connection with the fires has declared three days of mourning for the victims. Earlier it was reported 57 victims and nearly 60 injured. According to the Minister of internal Affairs of the country Jorge Gomez, a significant portion of the victims died in cars when the fire engulfed the path. According to police, the cause of the fire could be the lightning hit the tree.

Hundreds of firefighters and military personnel fighting the fires, which started on Saturday in the area of Pedrogao Grande for 150 km from Lisbon.
